About Me…

My name is Kurtis.

One thing that I’ve learned over the years, is that you can never count on things to stay the same.  While everything might be going perfectly one day, the universe has a way to make sure that you are never quite comfortable.  Wither you call it Karma, an overall cosmic plan, or divine intervention…our lives are always in a state of flux. It was the same day that I learned this small facet of life, that I decided I was going to try my best to become comfortable…with being uncomfortable.

While this may sound a bit abstract for everyday thought, it boils down to a simple premise.  In this life, do what makes you happiest.  Hopefully, this action will ground you and help you gain your center, this will allow the world to change around you…instead of the world changing who you are. So, for these last few years, I have tried my best to find what would make me happiest in this world we live in.  Trust me…not an easy task.

I’m still working on that very task to this day, and even though I’m still searching for that perfect situation, my current path is here…on this very blog.  It may sound a bit clichéd to those of you out there, but I’ve grown rather found of this blog.

So, Welcome…to all of you out there who are reading these words.  You have luckily stumbled onto a piece of the internet I have claimed as my own.  Here on this plot of digital real estate, I hope to garner interest, intrigue and overall excitement about both my artwork and written words.  It is here I hope to find my center…at least for the time being; For if anything is certain in this crazy world, it is the fact that everything changes.

For now, I am a young, eager, creative, old soul who is still learning something new everyday and plan too for quite a while longer.  While the world may change around me, I hope to keep my good heart, my courteous manners, and overall gentleman stature. My name is Kurtis the Red, and this has been about me.

(Let no one stand in your way, if you allow others to block the path to your goals…you deserve to fail)

  1. Hey Kurtis,

I agree with you that everything changes!

I’m compiling a free e-book about the Greatest Articles and I’m featuring excellent comments. Your thought in “Death of Handwriting” is a standout! I’m asking permission if I could include your words in the book?

    All the best,
    Justin G. Bautista
